Xylan® surface treatment

We apply fluoroplastics PTFE, PFA, and FEP, which can be found under the trade name Xylan®. The particular type of coating is determined by the ratio of individual additives and these also determine the resulting properties of Xylan®.

Xylan® from PPG Whitford is used to coat a variety of components across the industries, from bolts, through connectors and valves. Xylan-treated parts have low frictional properties and are therefore used as a dry lubricant. Xylanized screws rotate even under external corrosion.
